Advisers are here to help you in many ways. As a prospective student, an adviser is your resource for any questions or concerns you may have about admission qualifications and the application process. As an admitted or current student, you can expect your adviser to help you chart the best course towards completing your degree requirements and help ensure that you are up-to-date on current requirements and policies.
Your adviser can also direct you to UW services and resources. Sometimes your adviser serves as a sounding board as you sort through issues you may encounter along the path towards your degree. Whatever your situation is, get to know your adviser and stay in touch so that you can be assured success in reaching your academic goals.
To talk with an adviser, call 206-543-6160 or 1-800-543-2320; e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org; or schedule an appointment.
You can also visit informally with an adviser at an upcoming information meeting or community outreach event.
